I’m selling my device. Will you let me do a factory reset?
Answer
We allow transfers during a protection period. We do not unblock factory reset during a protection period. Many people who have told us they are selling, replacing, or giving their device away have later informed us that this was in order to gamble.
Please give us plenty of notice if you need to do any of the above, so there is time to transfer your protection.
We do make exceptions where gambling harm counselors have informed us that a reset is necessary.
