Alter and limit the Countdown Time.
Depending on the type of gambling activity, GamBlock® may allow the user time to gracefully stop the gambling activity via a normal quit routine for example, before forcefully closing it.
GamBlock® believes that the default time of 60 seconds is a sufficient warning to stop a gambling activity whilst still deterring this behaviour.
For some people, sixty seconds is not long enough and for others even one minute is too long a temptation. Subsequently, GamBlock® Gold and above allow for the adjustment of this delay down to 5 seconds.
In the interests of protecting people harmed by gambling, once this setting has been lowered, it cannot be raised again.
